Last night we had a very captivating audience at Taberna del Alabarder where at least 45 people enjoyed the delectable 5-course meal, paired with as many of our wines Chefs Javier Romero and David Sierra in collaboration with Sommelier Gustavo Iniesta ensured that the evening was noting short of perfection.
The evening began with an assortment of tapas, being paired with the Rossinyol de Moragas Cava Brut. From the 'White Asparagus Cold Soup Shot With Herring Caviar' to the 'Grill Scallop with Squid Ratatouille and
Mango' it was hard to imagine the evening getting any better!
Naturally though, in true Taberna style, the chefs really put on a show, while allowing me the pleasure of describing the wines being paired with each of the meals. Even the 'Chocolate, Café y Pistacho Verde' at the end was as sinfully exciting as the rest of the evening savory treats.
