Last Friday, we had the great opportunity to take part in one of the inaugural "Embassy Fridays" at the Embassy of Barbados, organized by CariBeat Events. These events not only serve as a forum for professionals from the Caribbean who live in Metro DC, but also becomes more distinguished knowing that several Ambassadors from the region also attend.
At this specific event, Tradewinds got to highlight its wines with the very appreciate guests, while we also took advantage of the opportunity to announce our hopeful intention of introducing Green Sands to the US. The ever gracious host, His Excellency Mr. John E. Beale, Ambassador for Barbados in the United States (photo above), played a vital and delightful role in making sure all guests felt very welcomed.
Other guests included H.E. Glenda Morean Phillip, S.C. Ambassador for The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago to the US; H.E. Gillian M. S. Bristol, Ambassador for Grenada to the US; H.E. Cornelius A. Smith, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the US.
