Tradewinds Specialty Imports -- Spanish Wines

Unique Spanish White Wines, Red Wines and Cava

The winemaking region of Ribera del Duero, on Spain`s northern plateau, follows the river Duero and takes advantage of a unique climate and land combine to produce outstanding wines.

Four of the provinces of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León come together in the Ribera del Duero: Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid.

Grapes and Winemaking

Most of the Ribera wines are Red wines produced by the grape variety of “Tinta del país” or “Tinto Fino” most known as Tempranillo. The wines are produced under the Regulations of Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.

The Personal Approach

Our bodegas are not just suppliers--they are part of an extended Tradewinds family.

We have visited each of these unique Spanish wineries to know the people and intimately understand their processes. And we keep in touch regularly to discuss product plans, inventory levels, news and buzz about their wine.

This personal approach ensures the Tradewinds portfolio offers distinct, high-quality Spanish wine.
